Introducing Willow Tree Wellness
Accessible mental health counseling services from the comfort of wherever you are.
Our philosophy
The willow tree is known for its flexibility, it’s capable of moving with the most treacherous twists and turns without snapping, it weathers all storms with resiliency. At Willow Tree Wellness we embrace this metaphor on your counseling journey by cultivating the ability to adjust with life and surrender to the process of growth rather than fight it.
Providing you with a safe space where you can prioritize you
Seeking counseling can be intimidating & taking this first step could be the key to changing your life for the better. We want you to feel comfortable bringing any and all life experiences to our sessions, from transitional stressors to trauma & anything in between. There is so much in life we cannot control, but taking this first step is something you CAN do for you!
Remote Telehealth options for improved accessibility for all clients
Our office is conveniently located wherever you can access phone calls or internet video sessions anywhere in North Carolina.
Meet our team
Ashley Edmond, MS, LCMHC
As the founder of WTW, I strive to hold a space for clients to find creative solutions to life’s challenges. My approach to therapy is collaborative because at Willow Tree Wellness we feel working together as a team in the therapeutic relationship will yield the best chances of success. I firmly believe that you possess all strengths needed to lead a life of peace and contentment and it is my job to help you illuminate and use those strengths.
“As your therapist I won’t
try to fix you
give you advice
tell you what to do
pretend that I know more about you than you do
assume what is best for you
have all the answers
make the hard stuff go away
As your therapist I will
remind you that you aren’t broken
give you room to access your own wisdom
support you in figuring out what to do
recognize that you are the expert on your own life
remember that only you know what is best for you
honor that I don’t know it all
collaborate with you on how to make the hard stuff easier to sit with”- Lisa Olivera
